Happy Thursday bookworms! Today I'm reviewing Everything Led Me To You by Sara Kate! I'd like to thank the author for sending me an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review! This book comes out August 31st. Now let's get started! Content warnings
Car crash, kidnapping, violence, death, coma After waking up from a week long coma, Jen is reeling from a hit and run accident she can't remember. With the police ignoring her concerns and prematurely closing her case, Jen sets off to solve the mystery herself. But her answers may come to her sooner than she thought.
This book is very fast paced! I ended up reading it in two sittings. The setting of a small town fit very well with the mystery theme. Jen was able to interview witnesses, look at camera footage, and investigate scenes which also added to the vibe. I enjoyed all of the characters, my favourite being Michelle. She's Jen's best friend who's always looking out for Jen's best interest. However, I wasn't a big fan of Jen's decisions and her reasoning behind them although it did help with the fast plot. Unfortunately I was able to guess the big plot twist about half way through the book. Other than the main twist I didn't see what would happen next and was interested in knowing more. The romance was a little rushed but was entertaining and integral to the plot. I also enjoyed learning more about each character's background. A quick and intriguing read. I gave this book 3/5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️. That's a wrap on my review of Everything Led Me To You by Sara Kate! I hope you enjoyed it! Do you buy multiple copies of the same book?
