I have another blog tour stop to share with you bookworms! Today's tour features The Dawn and the Prince by Day Leitao! Thank you to Favourite Pages for choosing me to be a part of this tour! Here is the schedule for the rest of the tour if you would like to follow the other stops! As part of this tour I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Synopsis The games are over and the stakes are higher in this exciting conclusion of the Kingdom of Curses and Shadows. Desperate to save her beloved and break the curses plaguing her land, Zora joins unlikely allies in a search for a way to defeat the the Shadow Kingdom. But when the dangers become much more difficult and the enemies much more powerful than she ever expected, she’ll have to find extra strength, resilience, and courage. And when everything seems lost, she’ll have to latch onto her hope. Hope and fury. Publisher: Sparkly Wave Release Date: June 18th, 2021 Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance My Review I had so much fun reading this book! As you may know I really enjoyed the first two books in this trilogy and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Our main characters were thrust into action from the very first pages. I was immediately hooked, the action packed plot, the loveable rag tag group of characters, and the vast world of the kingdom was addicting to read about. I came into this book having favourite characters but seeing how much they all grew in this book made me love them all. There was a lot of development in terms of relationships between characters which was great to see. Throughout the book we also had a change perspectives from character to character. I found this to be a very exciting way to let the story unfold. I was equally excited to read about each character and to get their take on their situation. The writing kept the plot very fast paced and we had many exciting setting changes along the way. I also really enjoyed learning more about the history of the kingdom and the magic system. My only critique is that I wish the ending were a bit longer in order to fully grasp what was happening. I can definitely see myself thinking about these characters long into the future. I loved the way the trilogy was wrapped up and thought it was realistic while also being very exciting. I'd also love to read more about this world, even about other people living in the kingdom! I absolutely cannot wait to pick up more of Day Leitao's books! I gave this book 4.5/5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨. Mood Board Author Information
