March is over bookworms! Can you believe it? This month has been so busy, let me tell you 😂. However, I was still able to squeeze in 5 books this month which I'm happy about! Let's dive in! In this wrap up I'll be providing a few of my thoughts on each book and some quotes if any stood out to me while reading. I will also be sharing my star rating out of 5.
Favourite Book This Month I'm sure you've already guessed what my favourite read of the month was. That's right! A Far Wilder Magic! I had a fantastic reading experience and I know these characters will stay with me for a long time. The writing style was so beautiful and I definitely forgot I was reading every time I picked it up.
That's a wrap on my March 2022 reading wrap up! I hope you enjoyed it! How many books did you read this month? Which one was your favourite? Let me know in the comments below!

Hello bookworms and happy Wednesday! Today I'll be reviewing the Once Upon a Book Club 12 Days of Book-Club-Mas YA box! I'm a representative for the company but purchased this box myself. For those of you that are new to Once Upon a Book Club, they are a bookish subscription box company with a very unique twist! It is a monthly box with Adult and Young Adult options. The box includes a book along with wrapped gifts with page numbers on them, It creates an interactive reading experience where the gifts are items directly from the book! For example, a character could be completing a puzzle, and then you open a gift with that exact puzzle! As you reach certain pages in the book, you are prompted with a sticky note to remind you of your gifts! It brings the book to life in such a unique way! Cost: $49.99 USD + shipping per month They also ship worldwide! 12 Days of Book-Club-Mas Box Review This box was a special edition advent box which came with a collection of short stories, each featuring a gift. The premise is that you read one story a day for 12 days, so you get 12 gifts. I really liked this format and found the stories to be intriguing and the gifts to suit the stories very well. I'm also really glad to have found some new writers to follow! Let's talk about the books included in this box! Along with the collection of 12 short stories, there was also full length books. I purchased the YA version and I was so excited to see that 4 books were included! The books I received were Most Likely by Sarah Watson, The Sullivan Sisters by Kathryn Ormsbee, Bloodleaf by Crystal Smith, and The Last True Poet of the Sea by Julia Drake! I haven't read any of these books yet so I can't wait to dive into them! I also hadn't heard of some of them before so they were exciting to discover! Now let's look at some of the other gifts! First up we have a pink hair clip (which I already use all the time!) and a fanny pack decorated with cursive words. I love the design! There was also a vial of bath salts I can't wait to use as a photo prop. Some aspects of the short stories that were included are a letter one of the main characters wrote, a pizza recipe, and a pen. I love how these little aspects were included! There's also a light switch decal that looks like a girl reading a book. Now onto some more gifts! First up we have a bookend that looks like a woman holding up the books which I love, it's already found a home on my bookshelf! Second up there's a wine cooler decorated with cursive font, but I'm thinking of using it as a vase for photos. We also have some smaller items like this Jane Eyre book ornament, and a bookish keychain! Finally we have some bigger items. We have a car windshield cover, and a Velveteen Rabbit tapestry. These items were really unique and I was very surprised when I opened them! Final Thoughts
I had such a fun time with this special edition box! I definitely recommend it as a Christmas present or just a gift in general since the items aren't holiday themed. If you'd like to experience these book boxes yourself you can use by code PAGEBYPAIGE10 for a 10% discount! |
